Change Happens FAST…

…unfortunately it’s not the kind of change that you’re hoping for.

No, baby yet. She is officially 4 days overdue and if she doesn’t show up by Monday the doctor will begin the induction process. Not exactly thrilled about the possibility of an induction so in trying to speed things up we have moved into old wives tale phase. If someone, somewhere once said, “this will make you go into labor,” we’re trying it.

As far as other things go…

…we’re moving! When? Next month! Where? Houston! Yes, we’re crazy. I know. We’ve been trying to move for years, literally and the job market just wasn’t cooperating.  Then, last month Jason got a job interview he couldn’t pass up and the rest is history; we weren’t going to pass up the chance to move back home due to poor timing. Luckily, his new employer is being very understanding with our whole “baby situation” and is allowing him to start working in a month. That will give us plenty of time to have the baby, get packed and moved.

If you’re thinking that quitting a job, having a baby, buying a new house, selling our current house and starting a new job all in the course of a month is impossible, don’t dispair! The hubby has already quit his job and is enjoying some much deserved relax time before the baby gets here. We went to H-Town over the weekend (with the doctor’s approval) and we bought a house! This afternoon (hopefully) we have a realtor coming by to look at our home here in Dallas. So, the preverbial ball is rolling. All we’re doing now is waiting on the baby to make her appearance. In the meantime, let the packing begin!
